?After the “Regional Innovation Award 2016”, the Brussels Regional Program for Circular Economy (RPCE) has yet again received international recognition. "Be Circular - Be Brussels" just won the "Eurocities Award 2017" in the "Innovation" category.
Brussels Economy and Employment launched eight calls for projects this year, including "Be Circular", which aimed at the development of innovative projects in the Brussels-Capital Region that meet the logic of circular economy.
This call for projects was a collaboration between Brussels Economy and Employment, Brussels Environment, Innoviris, Impulse and Clean Brussels. Both this cooperation and the support of the project carriers themselves are now being rewarded.
With this new award, the Brussels-Capital Region is confirming its position at the European top of circular economy policy.
